Brett Kissel, Chase Rice, Jade Eagleson, and Chayce Beckham are just a few of the names taking the stage at this two-day country music festival at the Ancaster Fairgrounds. Add food trucks, local vendors, and two evenings of summer air and you’ve got one of the bigger outdoor events this region has seen in a while. If you’re going Saturday, get there early — lineups move slower once the headliners get close.
Experience Hamilton Fiesta Extravaganza at Bayfront Park

Bayfront Park is the place to be this weekend as the Filipino community brings its full energy to Hamilton Fiesta Extravaganza. Live music, cultural performances, traditional food, and family-friendly entertainment fill both days. It’s one of those events where you show up for an hour and end up staying the whole afternoon — bring the kids, bring an appetite.
Spend Saturday evening at Jazz Night in Fieldcote Park

Ride the miniature train at Train Days, Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology

The Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers are back at the Museum of Steam & Technology for Train Days — miniature train rides, model engines in action, and a chance to explore Hamilton’s original 1859 waterworks. This one is a genuine hit with kids and a surprisingly interesting stop for adults who’ve never been inside. Great way to spend a Sunday morning before the heat of the afternoon.
Browse handmade pottery at the Squiggle Summer Market

Round out your Sunday with a stop at Squiggle the Studio’s Summer Pottery Market — local artists selling handmade pottery, sculptures, and one-of-a-kind ceramic work. It’s a low-key, genuinely lovely way to support Hamilton makers and probably pick up something you’ll be happy about for years. Doors open at 10, so it’s easy to hit before or after Train Days.
