Hamilton’s beloved outdoor music festival is back for its 50th anniversary, and the lineup is genuinely stacked. Dallas Smith, Feist, and Tomi Swick headline, and a special All-Star Celebration hosted by Blackie & The Rodeo Kings closes things out in style. Three days, multiple stages, great food, zero admission cost — this is the weekend’s marquee event and it’s hard to beat.

Saturday night is a CFL night. The Tiger-Cats host the Calgary Stampeders in what should be a fun, loud, classic summer football evening. Bring the family, grab a hot dog, and make some noise. Weekend evening games at Tim Hortons Field have a great atmosphere — worth the trip even if you’re a casual fan.
Dance the night away at Summer Salsa Fest on the waterfront

Pier 4 Park transforms into a Latin celebration on Saturday evening with live music, dancing, and waterfront views. It’s a fantastic free option if you want something festive and different — and honestly, a beautiful spot for it at this time of year. All ages are welcome, so bring the whole crew.
Take a Dundas Ghost Walk on Saturday night

If you’re looking for something a little more atmospheric after dark, Dundas Ghost Walks are back. You’ll hear chilling stories of ghosts, murder, and local mysteries on a guided walk through one of Hamilton’s most historic neighbourhoods.
