Street Eats Market is back and it’s setting up shop at Lime Ridge Mall for the rest of the summer. This weekend is your first chance to check it out — expect vendors from across Ontario serving up a wide range of street food, plus live entertainment and a beer garden. It’s a relaxed, open-air hang with plenty of options for picky eaters and adventurous ones alike. Good excuse to make an afternoon of it.
Explore heirloom tomatoes at Dundurn National Historic Site

Dundurn is hosting its Heirloom Tomato Experience this Sunday — a seasonal event celebrating the flavour and history behind heritage tomato varieties. Whether you’re a serious gardener or just love good food, it’s a nice change of pace from the usual weekend options.
Go plant-based at the Vegetarian Food Fair

This year’s Vegetarian Food Fair runs on the theme “Nourish the Body, Renew the Mind” and brings together plant-based food, live cooking demos, a BBQ, kids’ activities, and health sessions all under one roof. It’s a welcoming, community-driven afternoon that’s great for families. If you’re curious about plant-based eating — or just want to eat well on a Sunday — this one’s worth the trip up the Mountain.
Start Saturday at the Waterdown Farmers Market

If you’re the type who likes to make a morning of it, the Waterdown Farmers Market is a solid Saturday ritual.
