What Is Animal Reiki?

Animal Reiki is a form of energy healing that works by channeling universal life force energy to support an animal’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It’s a non-invasive, gentle practice that helps your pet relax, feel safe, and allow their body’s natural healing abilities to activate.

Unlike traditional hands-on Reiki for humans, Animal Reiki is practiced with animals rather than on them. This means your pet is always in control of the session. They choose how close they want to be, how much energy they wish to receive, and how long the session lasts. It’s a respectful and compassionate approach that honors their boundaries.

How Does It Work?

During a session, I enter a calm, meditative state, allowing Reiki energy to flow gently to your animal— from a distance. (Remote only) Because energy isn’t limited by space, distance Reiki is just as effective and often more comfortable for animals, especially those who are shy, anxious, recovering from illness, or sensitive to new environments.

Your pet may respond by lying down, yawning, sighing, purring, or simply relaxing deeply. Some animals even fall asleep. Each session is unique, just like every animal.
